Conclusion On Titles
after close analysation of multiple title sequences i learned that the typography used in title sequences can matter greatly and help contribute to set the whole tone of the movie. e.g a horror movie might use a bloody font to illustrate that its going to be a gory movie and not for the faint hearted. I also noted that the lead characters usually get special, and larger font to everyone else, because they are the stars of the movie and deserve more attention. the rest of the cast and crew have similar style and sized font. usually something less extreme then what is use for the lead roles. The title of the film is usually in bold and is more complex then the rest of the titles. I also concluded that the titles with the lead characters also get slightly more screen time then everyone else. another thing i noticed is that the whole title sequence was a recurring theme, and all titles regardless of font/size seem to fit the theme nicely.
