Today, we went to the media workshop to add on sound to our title sequence. We mainly focused on the background music for the murder scene. In total, we layered three songs from purple planet over one another to create a tension-building sound scape. We plan to add even more sound effects to this part such as a high pitched beeping sound when the camera cuts to shots of the dead body.
At first we added two clips: Entombed and Phantasm. However, we did not feel that these pieces of music sufficiently built the tension up to the point where the victim is murdered. In order to achieve this, we also added the clip "Insidious", also from purple planet. We are happy with this outcome, but still need to finish the sound on the rest of the title sequence.
