Task 17: Genre Shortlist

HORROR

I have chosen this genre because you can do a lot in a title sequence for a horror movie in order to scare the audience. Also the desired effect wanted on the audience is quite straightforward with horror movies: you want to scare them.


THRILLER

I am also considering thriller because the title sequences for these films usually do not require a lot of acting, which is good for our group as no one really wants to act.





TEEN SLASHER

Lastly, I am considering a teen slasher title sequence. This is because these films are so stereotypical that it will be easy to create a title sequence based on the usual conventions. My only concern is that these films can be a bit too cliché and not scary at all, and our group would like to make a creepier title sequence.
