7) Order of credits

From my research I discovered that title credits come in the following order:

·         Name of studio

·         Name of production company

·         Possessory credits (primary artistic credit for the film)

·         Starting (primary actors)

·         Films name

·         Featuring actors

·         Music/ music composed by

·         Production design/ designer

·         Editor

·         Director of photography

I am aware that this order changes at times depending on the status and how well known certain members of the production team are, this would probably be either the actors or the director and sometimes even the film itself. If the actor is classified as a-list star; they would probably put conditions in their contract listing where they would like to go, particularly because having a-list stars on a movie, increases the ‘hype’ and publicity for the film as the celebrity would already have a fan base.
