When Branding our blog we thought about the genre of our movie (thriller). We believed that cool colours and tones would work well, to keep up with the cold vide of our killer. we also used red for the titles to symbolise blood and murder. We kept the layout simple thought, so it would be user to look through the blood, as some of the offered temples were very complex and inconvenient to use.
We switched our backgrounds a lot, from flowers, to pictures of blood splatter. We finality decided on using a photo of our "murder plotting board" as represents our film and adds a more personal feel to our blog
