Our group started off by selecting our remake movie out of the mini variety of choice available. This included 'The Breakfast club'......and 'Gone Girl'. We choose Gone Girl because after watching the title sequence, we thought that it would be great that if we could use this as an opportunity to 'explore the neighbourhood' as we could see were we could possibly shoot, if we
decide to use an outdoor location.
We then sat down and rewatched the sequence so that we could storyboard the scenes and write a shotlist. I would say that this was time consuming because in order for this task to be a success we had to continuously pause the footage in order for us to draw thee storyboard and write down each transition into the next picture.
The 'Gone Girl' title sequence did not consist of much acting apart from the first 30 seconds (after some of the credits had appeared in a blank screen); and for this reason I think that this sequence is a combination of a blank screen with moving and still images.
